What Sells So What Do I Sell On Ebay
Anyone can find something to sell on ebay. you can walk into any thrift (charity) shops or stop by any garage sale, car boot market, offline auctions, e.t.c and find something to sell on ebay! it's not that difficult.
kid's clothing
kid's clothing sells beautifully on ebay. the key is to make
sure the garment is of good quality and to take really good digital
photos of the item. people like to see what they are buying.
look for clothing that is clean, stain free and in good condition.
always give a truthfull and accurate description of your clothing
or whatever you are selling, people like to be told the truth,
and you won't go far wrong.
You dont want any bad feedback do
you. if you can find brand names like, baby gap, osh kosh, etc...
even better. the same goes for kids shoes. if you can find them
in good shape and for a bargain at a boot sale, or charity shop
chances are you can resell them. A very competative market
Children's toys
Another thing you can look for are children's toys. legos sell
by the pound on ebay, so if you find a bag here and there at
garage sales put them all together, weigh them and then sell
them by the pound.
Go to ebay and look around a little and you
will get a sense of what toys are selling the best. try to find
those toys. if you ever find vintage toys and they are in pretty
good shape and a good price, snatch them up. they'll usually
sell.
vintage dishes and pottery
Familiarize yourself with the names
of vintage dishes and pottery that are big sellers so that when
you are out looking, you will know what is a deal and what is
not. for instance, if you flip over a dish and see the name fire
king and the dish is in good condition, you will probably want
to buy that.
Fire king jadite is a green dish that i've frankly
never cared for, but it is a hot commodity on ebay. go to ebay
and type in fire king jadite or jade-ite (it's spelled three
different ways actually) and look at the photos and prices that
come up. if you ever find good quality fire-king at a bargain,
grab it. in my opinion, it's like money in the bank.
There are
some less desirable patterns in fire king, but most are pretty
good sellers. i myself collect the "peach lustre" also
known as the orange fire king. it's less expensive than the green
jadite, but i like it far better.
video games
Look for used play station games as well. These
always sell well, even nintendo 64 games sell well. Try to make
sure they work and offer money back in the event they don't (providing
they return the game to you first).
People trust you when you
stand behind your sales and will often come back to you if you
have treated them fairly. Just remember, your reputation is everything
on ebay, so make sure you only sell things in good condition
and working order. This is a very competative market
adult clothing
Name brand adult clothing in top condition is very desirable on ebay. if you keep your eye out, you can find all sorts of great clothing deals at car boot sales and thrift shops. look for name brand fashion accessories as well. hand bags are great sellers if they are made by certain designers. be sure yours is not a fake, though! to do that, do a search on google about how to identify a fake. This is a very competative market
A few more things you can sell? day cares might use ( be sure to put the word day care in your description), christmas collectibles, beautiful comforter sets, home interior, candles (yankee and home interior are hot sellers), dvd's and some vhs ( if they are hot titles or classic like disney), cd's........ the field is wide open.
here is the trick. pick a few things in your house like the name of your daughter's jeans or the name printed on the bottom of a collectible you have. now, just for the info, not so that you can sell it, type it in the ebay search engine to your right and see what comes up and what it's going for. this exercise will give you a great lesson as to what's selling and what's not.
