Learn How To Get In The Top 5% Of Ebay

I bought Terry Gibbs Auction Revolution about a year ago or so. I was already selling on Ebay So I thought! I was searching for more "Detailed" information on how I can increase my sales percentage in my auctions as well as learn how to reduce costs.

Who doesn't want to reduce thier costs? Well, I broke down and purchased Terry's book. I can tell you this, if you are just starting out with Ebay or you are an experience seller... this book "will" serve up just what you ordered - Good, strightforward advice from a "very experienced" Ebayer who has been there and done that.

Terry's book is an A to Z plus book that takes you by the hand and describes to you how to:

1. Setup an Ebay account.
2. Research your items that you are going to sell.
3. What options are best to use in your auctions.
4. How to host your own photos for your items.
5. Writing auction details that will get you higher bids.
6. Handling questions, payments and fussy buyers.
7. Packing and Shipping your items.

Terry doesn't steer you wrong when it comes to setting up your Ebay business the "right" way. There is much more in this book once you've mastered the basics, and this is where it gets really, really good.

If you are among many new Ebayers, the first question that is typically asked is "what do I sell"? Terry answers this question for you in the second have of this book along with "Seasonal Cycles", "Power Listing", "Going Beyond Ebay" and more. The reason I like this book, is because it's a no-hype, straight to the point manual that will guide you to setting up your Ebay business right and improving it from there.

The tips and tricks he gives you are from his experiences as an Ebay seller of selling over 14,000 items. He knows what he's talking about! There is not much to complain about, but a couple of things that are a negative is that the image software that he shows you how to use in the book is no longer available (He does reveal an alternative to you on his web site) and since Terry is in the collectibles arena, he focuses on this throughout his book.

Although, you can most definitely apply the principles to any category of Ebay. With that said, I have used some of his tips and ideas and have had great results. I highly recommend this book to those of you who are new to selling on Ebay as well as to you veterans. Just one idea can help you immensely.

P.S. I am still useing his book as a guide for my auctions and to verify I'm doing the right things to stay on track. If you use it, you "can" make it into the top 5% on Ebay.
